Affidea Magyarország Kft. (hereinafter called: Provider) performs his diagnostics activity in every respect in favour of the patients upon the request of themselves or the referral institute. He keeps before, during and after the examination the provisions set up in the Medical Act and other legal regulations in respect of the examinations and the examined persons.

The aim of the current Privacy Policy is to define the most important rules of the processed data and the registration system of same in accordance with the legal instructions in effect, through which the high level enforcement of requirements bound to the data protection provisions can be secured. Furthermore, the current Privacy Policy ensures that no unauthorized persons should have access to the data processed by the Provider and these should not come to publicity.

With regard to the above we can assure you that Affidea Magyarország Kft. is committed to the protection of your personal data. In course of the operation of the website we protect the personal data and personal rights of our clients by every means; within the frame of this we keep the prescriptions of Act IV. of 1959. about the Civil Code as well as of the Act LXIII. of 1992 about the protection and publicity of personal data.

Explanatory provisions

Personal data: Data that can be associated with any defined natural person, from the data conclusions can be drawn to the person in question. The personal data keeps his quality in the data processing as long as its connection to the involved person can be restored. The person is to be considered identifiable especially, when he – directly or indirectly – can be identified by his name, identity code, or by one or more physical, mental, economic, cultural, social characteristics.

Special data: Data regarding the racial origin, belonging to ethnic or national minority, political views and opinion, religion or ideological conviction, membership in advocacy, health status, pathological passion, sexual preferences as well as the criminal data.

Data substance: the totality of data stored in the system of the Provider.

Data management: Any action or operation or all the actions and operations executed on data without regard to the implemented process, for example collection, registration, storing, changing, using, transmitting, publishing, harmonizing, connecting, closing, deleting, destructing data as well as the prevention of further use of data.

Data deletion: Making data unrecognizable in a way that no restoration shall be possible.

Consent: The voluntary and clear manifestation of the client’s request which is based on appropriate information, providing unambiguous approval to manage his personal data.

Affidea Magyarország Kft. with regard to his Privacy Policy undertakes the obligation that:

  • your personal data shall be processed correctly in accordance with the provisions of the respective legal regulations,
  • your personal data shall be stored for definite and legal purposes only and these shall not be used for other purposes only upon your approval,
  • appropriate safety measures shall be taken to protect the data stored in the data substance,
  • unauthorized access, change or transfer of data shall be prevented.

Diagnoscan Magyarország Kft is entitled to manage the data connected to the availability of our services without the approval of the recipient only if these can not be associated with the recipient.

We can assure you that Affidea Magyarország Kft. shall – in course of managing and processing data – keep the provisions of the Act LXIII. of 1992. about the protection and publishing of personal data. The reason of request for data is always indicated and the received data shall always been used for a specific objective.

Affidea Magyarország Kft. shall do every technical effort for the safe storage of user’s data, with special regard to the provisions of the Act LXIII. of 1992. about the protection and publishing of personal data, the Act VI. of 1998 and Act LIII. of 2005. about the protection of individuals in course of data processing, as well as the provisions of chapter XVII. of the Act C. of 2003. about the electronic telecommunication and the prescriptions of the Government Order 226/2003. (XII.13.) about the particular conditions of data management and the data safety of telecommunication services.

It is the Provider or his personally authorized representative who is entitled to store the managed data as well as using them in aggregated form in a way unsuitable for personal identification.

It is the duty and at the same time the responsibility of the data manager that data shall – due to lack of clear legal regulation – not be accessible and identifiable to third parties.

Upon request of the user we shall provide him information concerning his personal data, or upon request of the user we shall modify or delete same.

Collection of personal information

To use certain services of (i.e. newsletter) the registration of users is necessary, for which personal data and in certain cases special data of the user is requested. The registration is fully voluntary. By registering the user contributes to the management of his data. On our website there is opportunity to apply for newsletter. Upon request Affidea Magyarország Kft. shall delete the user from the newsletter-sending data base free of charge. Concerning data and information in the newsletter Affidea Magyarország Kft. shall undertake no responsibility.

At the website the Provider may ask you to provide personal data, like your e-mail address, residence or office, your telephone number. Provider may also collect demographical information, like your address, age or sex. Besides, he may obtain general information, which your browser sends to every website you have visited, like your IP address, name and type of browser, access time and names, website addresses. Provider uses website analyzing devices for collecting information about your website visiting patterns, i.e. sites from which visitors come to a website, searching motors and key words which are used to find sites and sub-menus within the site. These data serve exclusively statistical purposes. IP address and diary file may be considered in certain cases as personal data.

Certain applications of use small information files, so-called „cookies” which – in order to ease the identification of the user and further visits – shall be stored on the hard drive of visitors. The user of the portal may define if he desires to receive cookies or not, respectively if he wants to receive notification about that the visitor may send a cookie or not. (XII.13.) about special conditions data processing of telecommunication providers and the data security of telecommunication services; Act CVIII of 2001. about the electronic commercial services and specific questions of services in connection with the informational society.
